  • What is the experience/ capabilities of your team? – qualification and experience of your team?

    Our inspectors have rich experience in the field of Construction industry. Once you confirm the booking, we would share the experience and qualification of the consultant assigned for your property.

  • How much time is required for the inspection and preparation of report?

    Inspection of a typical apartment takes between 2 and 3 hours. But this depends on other factors also. Some older and/or larger homes can take longer.
    Soft copy of a detailed report will be uploaded to your account within 7 days of completion of the inspection. In case the client requires hard copy of the report, additional 2 days will be required for the courier service to deliver the report.

    At this stage of our venture, we are only providing Inspection services for residential properties in Bangalore.
    In case of new property, you can avail our services before the possession of the property i.e. when the developer communicates to you that your property is ready for hand over and you can inspect your property for any defect/ snags.
    In case of an old property, you cab avail our services before buying or selling it so that you can evaluate the actual condition of the property and your negotiation point based on our report.

  • What is the authenticity of your report? How accurate would your report be? Why should I trust you?

    At Snagitout, we strongly believe that the only way to excel in this business is to gain the trust of our client. Failing which our aim to become the market leader in coming years would also fall apart. Our team is dedicated and focus towards what we do. We try to make sure that we capture all the aspects related to your property to maximum accuracy in our report.We maintain utmost confidentiality of our clients.

  • Would you come along when I go to meet the developer to discuss the report?

    Most suitable rectification methodology will be provided in the report. In case the client requires further support, we will accompany the client to meet the developer on a chargeable basis.

  • Do you provide follow up services also i.e. de snagging?

    We provide follow up services to inspect the rectification works carried out by the developer on a chargeable basis. The developer needs to provide a letter confirming completion of all work and ready for inspection.

  • How do I identify that the team visiting my property belongs to your company?

    We will provide the contact details of the inspector who has been assigned to carry out the inspection of your property.

  • What are the documents I need to share with you before your inspection?

    You would need to share the agreement copy of the property including the agreed layout plan with dimensions, agreed specification of the material and letter from developer stating that the property is ready for inspection. Commercial part of the agreement should be excluded. We would also require an authorization letter from the owner of the property as permission for inspection.

  • Would you also inspect common area, parking, shaft for services or any other common facility?

    We inspect the common area within the floor, designated parking area and other facilities provided we are allowed to do so by the developer.

  • Do you provide any additional services for outstation clients?

    We are currently operational in Bangalore are expanding to other cities. You can mail us your request and we will get back as soon as we are operational in your city.

  • How much does an inspection costs? What is your payment terms & conditions?

  • Is there any discount on multiple property inspection order?

    Multiple properties within the same vicinity would attract discount as we save on transportation and other operational cost. We would be happy to pass on that cost to our client.

  • Do you need authorization letter from the property owner before inspection?

    Yes, we would require an authorization letter from the owner of the property before inspection of the property. Format of the Authorization letter can be downloaded from the following link.

  • Do you have any accreditation from any real estate regulatory body?

    We are in the process of applying for some of the leading real estate regulatory body of India. This process might take some time.

  • Will you provide hard copy of the report?

    We want to reduce the usage of paper to the maximum possibility as our responsibility towards the environment and to leave a better tomorrow for our next generations. But the option of providing hard copy of the report is also available at an additional cost.

  • Can I follow along at the time of inspection?

    At the end of the day its your property and no one can stop you from entering into it. We actually encourage our clients to attend. This is generally a valuable learning experience for most of our clients. It is the perfect opportunity to ask specific questions about the condition of the home, defects and possible rectification methods. At the same time, such inspection requires concentration and careful observation.

  • Do you do rectification works or recommend any contractor?

    No. We are a consulting firm specialising in building inspections. We consider it a conflict of interest for an inspector to recommend or refer a contractor to perform rectification works.

  • Can we contact you with questions after the inspection also?
